Saiber to Lease 34,000 sq. ft. at Bergman’s Giralda Farms, Eyeing Move This Spring
Saiber LLC is detailing its upcoming move to the historic Giralda Farms section of Madison, where it will occupy some 34,000 square feet under a lease with Bergman Real Estate Group.
The law firm announced Wednesday that it will relocate its headquarters this spring from Florham Park, its home since 2009, with plans to occupy space on the third floor of 7 Giralda Farms. That will include multiple conference rooms, war rooms, a café, a wellness room and more than 60 private offices, reflecting what Saiber said is its dedication to providing a productive and welcoming environment for its employees and clients.
“This move to our new space at 7 Giralda Farms is particularly special as we celebrate the 75th anniversary of Saiber’s founding,” said Nino Coviello, a co-managing member of the firm. “We look forward to welcoming our clients, colleagues and community to this incredible new space.”
Saiber is one of multiple law firms to relocate to 7 Giralda Farms, which Bergman has overhauled since acquiring it in 2021. Riker Danzig, a 140-year-old full-service law firm, announced recently that it will occupy 45,500 square feet at the property after it moves from its longtime headquarters in Morristown, while Kelley Drye & Warren LLP has committed to 17,260 square feet and is relocating from Parsippany.
Joshua Cohen and Bill Brown of Cushman & Wakefield represented Bergman in the lease with Saiber, which spent nearly six decades in Newark before moving to Florham Park. Cushman’s Richard Baumstein and Edward Duenas represented the tenant, while Rock Brook is the MEP/FP engineer for the law firm’s space.
“We are very excited to welcome Saiber LLC to 7 Giralda Farms,” said Michael Bergman, CEO and president of Bergman Real Estate Group. “We know that they will enjoy a best-in-class office experience.”
Bergman and Eightfold Real Estate Capital acquired 7 Giralda in July 2021 and began a major upgrade of the property, part of a gated 1.15 million-square-foot office park on the former Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge Estate. Amenities at the three-story building now include a 3.5-mile paved walking loop around the Giralda Farms complex, a fitness center, a bike share program and a yoga and exercise room, along with a nine-hole disc golf course on the complex’s 20-acre grounds.
The property also has an upscale employee lounge with shuffleboard and a pool table, as well as a modern 36-seat conference center with multimedia for group meetings. Tenants, meantime, are minutes from Interstate 287 and Route 24 and able to tap into North Jersey’s large talent pool, while the campus is three miles from downtown Morristown.
“We are especially excited about the opportunity to bring all our attorneys and practice groups together on a single level,” said Jennine DiSomma, co-managing member of Saiber. “This layout promotes collaboration, strengthens relationships across the firm and opens new opportunities to cross-market our services. The design of the new space will foster a more collegial environment, benefiting both our team and our clients.”
