Morris County Library Children’s Fall Programs
This fall, the Morris County Library is offering an exciting assortment of programs for children. Here are just a number of events for you to explore!
- Weekly Events: “Pre-School StoryTime”, “Music with Mr. Darren”, and Take-Home Crafts
- Fall Annual Events: “Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin” Contest and Children’s Halloween Parade
There are also a number of upcoming performances sponsored by the Morris County Library Foundation. You’ll want to save the date for these!
- Angela Dinkelman’s “Stories and Song: A Grimm’s Fairytale Recital” on October 26th (all ages)
- “Sleepy Hollow Halloween Show” presented by Kit’s Interactive Theater on October 28th (ages 5 to 12) Registration is required and starts on September 1st.
- Traveling Lantern Theater Company’s “The Story of Ebenezer Scrooge” (aka “A Christmas Carol”) on December 9th (ages 4 through 12)
All children’s fall programs at the Morris County Library will be held in person, and these performances will be live-streamed. As seating is limited, the library will not accept walk-ins—you can register by using the calendar on the library’s Children’s Programs page, or by calling the Children’s Desk at (973) 285-6980.
Public Computer Classes at the Morris County Library
In addition to performances and events, the library also offers public computer classes. These helpful library services are perfect for Morris County job seekers or residents looking to learn valuable new skills.
