We Need Your Help with the National Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 Survey

In partnership with the Morris County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC), Morris Arts is proud to be participating in the Americans for the Arts (AFA) Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 (AEP6) national study, which measures the economic impact of the nonprofit arts and culture industry. We are 1 of 395 participating communities representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

To accomplish this national effort, AEP6 data collection efforts will focus on audience-intercept surveys collected from attendees at performances, events, exhibits, venues, and facilities through April 2023.

This is where we need your organization’s help.

Morris County is expected to complete 800 surveys. Americans for the Arts has made this process as easy as possible and provided support and tools to back up our efforts. Your audience will have the option of filling out a paper survey, using their smart phone by scanning a QR code or by using a tablet provided by the venue (if you have one) to connect to the online survey.

The survey includes core economic impact questions about the expenditures related to attending the event, a social impact component and questions that capture their demographics.
