NJEDA Information Session: CSIT R&D Seed Grand Pilot Programs
The New Jersey’s Commission on Science, Innovation, and Technology (CSIT) is launching Round 3 of the Clean Tech R&D Seed Grant Pilot Program and Catalyst R&D Seed Grant Pilot Program. Grant amount is up to $75,000 per award. The CSIT R&D Seed Grant Pilot Programs aim to enhance the State’s innovative economy by providing financial grants to early-stage innovation-based companies to accelerate key product development. The funding assist applicants to transform new discoveries from research-stage into commercially viable products and services, leading to industry and investor interest. The webinar will highlight two R&D Seed Grant application pathways: 1) Round 3 The Clean Tech R&D Seed Grant Pilot Program – For early-stage clean tech/clean energy. Target areas include: Chemicals/Advance Materials, Energy Distribution/Storage, Energy Efficiency, Energy Generation, Green Buildings, Transportation, Waste Processing, Water and Agriculture. 2) Round 3 Catalyst R&D Seed Grant Pilot Program – For early-stage companies. Target areas include: Advanced Manufacturing, Advanced Transportation and Logistics, Film and Digital Media, Life Sciences – (medical devices, diagnostics, platforms, non-drug therapeutics), Non-Retail Food and Beverage, Professional and Financial Services (fintech, etc.), Technology (hard tech, AI, software development, machine learning, etc.) Attendees of this webinar will learn about how to apply, program deadlines, important dates and requirements, and the application process.
